Lady Alchemy
Fallen Angel, 2014–2017
Performance
The Box, New York City
Fallen Angel represents an archetype of internal division, in which identity is shaped through conflict. The figure of the fallen angel appears across myth and religious imagery as one caught between origin and exile, belief and doubt, obedience and self-knowledge.
This performance was presented regularly at The Box in New York City between 2014 and 2017. Structured as a short, repeatable stage work, the piece unfolded within a fixed visual and symbolic framework. The Box, an established New York venue known for its fusion of nightlife, cabaret, and avant-garde performance art, provided a cultural setting in which allegorical figures and theatrical imagery allowed broader public circulation.
The work emerged from an internal struggle concerning origin, otherness, and moral ambiguity.
